ETMCA  (commonly referred to as, the Code Artist)  is a Los Angeles artist, known for his encoded; binary and morse code message-based art, which often bridge between conceptual art and new-media art. Prior to graduate studies in Information Systems, ETMCA began his art pursuits in the mid-eighties as a one of LA’s early transit system artists.   His recent focus has been the practice of a new artform, which he’s defined as Discovery Art.

THE “ETMCA” NAME

The letters E-T-M-C-A do not form an acronym. So, it is does not represent one particular phrase or set of words.  Rather, it is a series of letters, making it easily translated across various languages.
